The film “IZI” by Italian director Andrea Magnani, produced by @freshproductiongroup, @bartlebyfilm and @pilgrimfilm, is the first official co-production of Ukraine and Italy. The world premiere of the film took place in 2017 at the 70th Locarno International Film Festival as part of a competition program. We also took part in creating special effects for this film: Hurricane, Fog and Snowfall! The stormy wind provided the most powerful windstorm in Ukraine from TORNADO SFX. The snowfall also seemed very realistic, because we picked a good kind of artificial snow, which provides the necessary structure. With the help of smoke generators, the team managed to fill the entire filming area, while adjusting the saturation density.
